. The Nintendo DSi has all the features of the DS Lite and some exciting extra ones as well. It also features an even slimmer design, larger screens and built-in Internet browsing capability. Additions include two motion-detecting cameras, downloadable content and the ability to play your favourite music via SD cards. The DSi cameras allow you to take snaps and save them to the internal memory or an external SD card (sold separately). Play can be directed by movement alone, bringing a whole new way of interacting with the console. They are also able to accurately detect your facial features and upper body movements. Its enhanced sound system means your music sounds great with or without headphones, while the ability to record voice samples through the built-in microphone then edit them to your heart’s content adds another good reason to keep your Nintendo DSi by your side. With dual screens and touch-screen technology, wireless communication and built-in PictoChat software you have the power to draw, write and send messages wirelessly. The Nintendo DS has revolutionized the way games are played. The two back-lit LCD screens offer groundbreaking gameplay advances. The lower screen offers touch-screen capabilities so you no longer have to rely on just buttons to move your character or shift perspectives. Each screen can reproduce a true 3D view, with impressive 3D renderings. Navigate menus or access inventory items simply by touching the screen with a stylus or fingertip. The wireless range can be an incredible 30 to 100 feet. You can connect with a local wireless network of up to 16 players. Stereo speakers allow for virtual surround sound and a plug for headphones transmits stereo sound.

A random selection of reviews taken about this merchant. PLEASE NOTE: These are invidual opinions, and not our own experiences.
Service and customer care was Poor, very poor. Only one item received - and that differed from website description - and was delivered late! The other item proved to be unavailable, but no communication from John Lewis saying this until non-delivery of item queried! Plus John Lewis even took three days to answer that query, and then only with a limp apology stating that the item was unavailable because it had been 'returned to supplier'? Items ordered as presents, so lateness of delivery and communication (after 10 days, and then only after query) from John Lewis stating order was unavailable left no time to arrange replacements from elsewhere. When queried, only a single line response with a stock apology and made up reason. Poor service and poor customer care, extected better from John Lewis, have a regular shopper at John Lewis for over thirty years, but will give web site store a wide berth from now on!
The delivery of our wahser-dryer was extremely tedious and time consuming affair. First we ordered the machine from Johnlewis.com mainly because we had found an attractive and convenient delivery time, being without a washing machine for a few days already. So, having placed the order and booked time off work, we received a phone call the day before the scheduled delivery to be told that there had been a "system error" and that the delivery would take place one week later between 08:00 and 14:00.....
