  i have been a customer of play.com for about 5 years as i like to collect many dvds and usually getting them online and posted is more convenient when i know what im looking for!the dvds are reasonable and posted quickly..BUT..my advise is never to order from a private seller as my recent cd has never been posted and i have been ripped off judging by the seller feedback.42 negative reviews yet he is still "selling" i tried to contact the seller but my emails were ignored. i contacted..

  Item ordered and payment taken. Incorrect item was delivered 7 days late, packaging was already open. I have my items delivered to work to ensure someone can sign for them. Once I realised the item was incorrect I tried to call the 0845 number who were absolutely terrible with information and could not confirm postage costs or refund process other than instructions are on website. I finally got a returns email and the instructions were incorrect on how to return an item. Shocking support, even worse service and I'm still awaiting a refund.
  
  I can only suggest that if you have to use play.com then pay by paypal but I gues they will remove this when they realise they can't hold payments until 30 days after transaction.
  
  You cannot disable you account or remove your credit card details and to top off the insult, the last part of the email states if you don't return the incorrect item dispatch within 30 days they will charge your credit card.
  
  Not only fraudulent company they appear to have no regard for EU online sales laws
