  I ordered Venom headset for Xbox360 & paid £4.99 for express delivery. What I received was a Venom battery pack which I returned as they had sent the wrong item. Play.com won't refund me the £4.99 for the express delivery as they delivered within their time frame. Whether the item was incorrect/faulty/damaged doesn't come in to it. I will neither use nor recommend play.com.
  This is the 2nd time I have received the wrong item but what has annoyed me more is that I ordered this one on express delivery & I have now paid £4.99 for them to send me something I didn't order.

  I ordered a spacerug dressing gown, I received a laptop sleeve?! when I checked my account online it was marked as spacerug dispatched and my bank account had been charged for the item. In the package there was no returns label or information. On the website there are no methods of emailing Play, you get directed from one hopeless Q/A page to another when I finally found a way of e mailing them, it was via an online form (their email address that they reply to you in unchecked so you need to use the online form everytime!) I told them of my problem and they sent me a very rude and short email telling me that it's not their fault they sent me the wrong item as a robot picks the orders! They told me that I have to return the item at my own cost! I have to print off my own returns label from the website! Worse still they will only refund £1.40 if it costs more I have to post them my royal mail receipt and wait for them to process it for a further refund! They told me that if they do not receive the item I will not be refunded my £14.99 that they had taken, despite not sending me the item I ordered!! The email was very rude and when I emailed them telling them that the returns policy was poor they simply sent me the same email back with a note saying that if I do not comply then my refund will take a long time!! refund for an item I never got! unbelieveably poor service, unreliable and shocking
